Resource Allocation in Fog Computing: A Systematic Review

Despite the importance of resource allocation issues, there is no systematic, comprehensive and detailed survey on approaches in fog-computing context. In this article, we provide a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) fog environments form classical taxonomy to recognize state-of-the-art mechanisms important topic open issues. The presented categorized into three main fields: centralized allocation, decentralized integrated (published between 2017 March 2022). According what known computing, load balancing service placement are among most basic parameters that ensure quality. These fields classified four methods, approximate, exact, fundamental, hybrid. addition, article investigates metrics with all advantages limitations related chosen networks.
